Everyone's constantly looking for ways to speed up the boring bit of reporting so that more time can be spent on all the interesting bits. The Google Analytics API combined with the R programming language offers a flexible way to produce nice looking reports in a semi-automated way. R can also be used to build sophisticated forecasting models which can be combined with these reports to automatically produce a view of what has happened in the past and a prediction for the future.
